(2m human distancing during COVID-19)

Healthcare is complex. Linear reasoning only goes so far. Try systems thinking instead.

I love that moment when I suddenly see something that has been hidden in plain sight.

Prof Dr med Hugo Sax has been working for over 20 years as a medical doctor in infectious diseases and infection prevention - and continues to be fascinated by the functioning of healthcare systems as complex organisations, especially the interface between humans and their work environment.

I’d love to work with you.

Research

My current research focusses on behaviour of microbes and humans - and their effect on infectious risks.

Consultation

I am happy to leverage my knowledge and experience in healthcare and systems/human factors design. If airplanes are involved, all the better.

Design

I love good interface and product design. From patient records to chairs - and back. No latent errors!

Education and training

I have given several hundred hours to education and training in healthcare and aviation. And love doing it.

Public speaking

You might want to hear things from a different angle. You like live interaction.
